RMSO Founding Member

Award-winning Trombonist & Euphophonist Dylan Martin has performed extensively on 3 continents, winning the coveted Drum Corps International Performers' Showcase (solo competition) in 2014 as a member of the Blue Devils, the same year the corps won the DCI World Championship title with a score of 99.65, the highest score ever recorded.

Dylan's influences include Joseph Alessi, Alain Trudel, and Christian Lindberg. Dylan performs in both jazz and classical styles on Alto Trombone, Tenor Trombone, and Euphonium.

Dylan’s post-secondary studies were under the guidance of noted perfomer and pedagogue James Scott, Principal Trombone of the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra.

In addition to the RMSO, Dylan also performs with the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Alberta Winds, Prime Time Big Band, and the Calgary Jazz Orchestra.
