With RMSO since Season 1
Kaj Morawski received his Bachelor of Music degree in Clarinet Performance from the University of Calgary in 2017 where he held the principal clarinet position in the Symphonic Band, Wind Ensemble, and Orchestra, as well as several other chamber groups. Kaj has also played with the Calgary Civic Symphony, the Denis Wick Canadian Wind Orchestra, and the Calgary Stampede Showband where he was a member of three back-to-back world championship bands and has received several individual awards and scholarships.
Mr. Morawski received his Bachelor of Education degree in Music from the University of British Columbia in 2018 and now teaches music in Calgary Board of Education schools, most recently at Queen Elizabeth High School. In his spare time, Kaj plays with Alberta Winds and now sits on the board following more than 5 seasons of performing in the ensemble.
Kaj is excited for another season of bringing music to smaller communities with the ever-growing Rocky Mountain Symphony Orchestra!
